| CDNs (Content Delivery Networks) are incredibly useful networks of distributed servers which aim to provide high-availability, low-latency access to static content from any geographical location. The addition of an Internet Exchange in Liverpool could mean the possibility of a Content Delivery server, which would reduce latency of static content serving for local residents. | Meetup |

| I started out studying Digital Electronics. I’ve been working as a developer for about seven years, mostly in small teams doing new stuff like startups, alphas and new products. I currently work part time for Co-op digital and a privacy & security agency called IF. I’ve been using exclusively GNU/Linux since 2001, I dabble in a bit of crypto, run a Tor node, and support the Internet Freedom movement. I’m particularly interested in making powerful technology like crypto useable and seamless for ordinary people. The reforms are at the heart of a skills partnership between government, business and education and training providers – a partnership that will create the skills revolution needed to meet the needs of our economy.
