Alan is a Chartered Engineer and member of The IET with 20+ years of experience working in the IT industry, specializing in the design and operation of Enterprise Networks. Cisco certified, he is experienced with: BGP, OSPF, RIP, MPLS, VRFs, STP, IPsec, DMVPN, Cisco IOS ZBF, DWDM, WAN Optimisation and SD-WAN. He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry and has studied martial arts for 35 years, attaining black belt in Tae Kwon-Do and now studying Iaido.
