Dr. Andrew Tickle is is both a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Physicist (CPhys) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). He is currently an Assistant Professor / Senior Lecturer in Electrical / Electronic Engineering at Coventry University with 15 years’ experience where he teaches fundamental electronics, machine vision, and advanced robotics.
He also actively works in STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Maths) to motivate the next generation of engineers has served in various roles within the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) being one of the longest serving Young Professionals chair for over 8 years, Local Network chair for Coventry and Warwickshire and is now a YPCC mentor and professional registration advisor (PRA). Andrew also helped organised the annual Robot Day event in Coventry which will lead into City of Culture 2021.
Andrew is an independent Director for IX Liverpool who also sits on the Buildings Certification scheme committee to inspect and audit our agreed framework that we certify the regions buildings against.
