Matt is a Internet Entrepreneur and Technologist, he is founder and CEO of Business Wireless ISP Baltic Broadband and Internet of Things Limited.
He’s a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and was accorded the title of visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship in Liverpool John Moores University in 2013 and Fellow of the British Computer Society in 2014.
He’s been involved in the Internet since 1994, helping bring it to the masses by establishing Liverpool’s first ISP, building his own Data Centres, Wireless Networks and end user content delivery services and today as Chair of IX Liverpool he is leading a team to build better Internet infrastructure here in the Liverpool City Region.
In his spare time, he’s a qualified pilot and likes to travel around the UK and Europe while he regularly gives talks and seminars at conferences around the region.
